The PADI AWARE Specialist course introduces you to the global PADI AWARE Foundation and empowers you to become an ambassador for ocean conservation. Prerequisites

This is a non-diving specialty, making it suitable for everyone.

There are:

• No minimum age requirements
• No diving certification required
• No water sessions required

Anyone with a passion for the ocean and marine conservation is welcome to enrol.

Course Outline

Through engaging classroom discussions and interactive workshops, you’ll learn how to:

• Discover the global PADI AWARE Foundation and its mission.
• Understand the 10 Tips for Divers to Protect the Ocean Planet.
• Learn how everyday decisions affect our oceans.
• Develop your own action plan to make a positive environmental impact.
• Become an active ambassador for ocean conservation both above and below the surface.

Completing this specialty also brings certified divers one step closer to achieving the prestigious PADI Master Scuba Diver rating.

Equipment

No scuba equipment is required for this course, making it ideal for both divers and non-divers who want to make a positive difference for our oceans.

Getting Started

Once you’ve enrolled, you’ll receive your PADI AWARE Specialist learning materials before your training begins.

One of our experienced Zero Limits Diving PADI Instructors will then contact you to schedule your course and guide you through the learning experience.

This is a knowledge-based specialty, completed through instructor-led discussions with no practical diving sessions required.
