At Zero Limits Diving, we’ll show you how to dive safely and confidently in a dry suit so you can stay warm, comfortable, and focused on the adventure beneath the surface.
Prerequisites
To enrol in the PADI Dry Suit Diver Specialty course, you must:
- Be at least 10 years old.
- Be a PADI (Junior) Open Water Diver (or hold an equivalent certification from another recognised training agency).
Course Outline
During one confined water session and two open water dives, you’ll learn how to:
- Choose the right dry suit and undergarments.
- Correctly put on and remove your dry suit.
- Master buoyancy control while diving in a dry suit.
- Safely plan and conduct dry suit dives.
- Care for and maintain your dry suit equipment.
The first dive of this specialty may also count as an Adventure Dive towards your PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certification. Completing this course also brings you one step closer to achieving the prestigious PADI Master Scuba Diver rating.
Equipment
You’ll use your standard scuba equipment together with:
- Dry suit
- Appropriate thermal undergarments
- Weight system suited for dry suit diving
- Standard scuba equipment
Your Zero Limits Diving Instructor will help you choose the correct equipment and teach you how to use it safely and comfortably.
Getting Started
Once you’ve enrolled, you’ll receive your PADI Dry Suit Diver learning materials to complete before your practical training begins.
One of our experienced Zero Limits Diving PADI Instructors will then contact you to arrange your training sessions and guide you through every step of the course.
Practical training typically takes 2–3 days and is usually conducted over weekends, with weekday training available by prior arrangement.
